the wife and i bought our coach, an '84 Fleetwood Southwind 34' (33?) from a young couple in Georgia a couple of weeks back. i've been scouring every bit of information on these that i can find... and i'm more than happy with our new addition! we traveled to and from Florida from Charleston several times to look at other coaches, never saw one as well kept as this one. which isn't to say she doesn't have issues... she does; they're not deal breakers by ay means. as a matter of fact, the missing items from the coach (gas fridge, furnace) i had serious reservations about keeping if they WERE there.
there'll be pictures added soon... been busy making various repairs and changes.

i've been reading through the vintage forum and finding lots of kindred souls.

this coach was bought as a hedge against becoming out-of-doors should things go much more awry than they have already... funny, though, that on the way back from picking it up (now; THERE'S a story) i got a call from someone lining me up with a better job.... a six ton, 454 powered catalyst for hope and change!
