Recently purchased a 2000 30' Storm after 15 years away from RV's. The last MH was a 1983 34' Pace Arrow. Now all the kids are grown with kids of their own and we can devote more time to each other. Our hobbies include a 70 Chevelle and a 72 El Camino.
The MH is a gas rig with no slide outs. For just the two of us and the dog we felt we didn't need the extra space or headache. I'm about to retire after nearly 40 years as an electrician and we are looking forward to getting out and seeing some of this great country. I'm a lucky guy. My wife is pretty darned spectacular. She drives the MH and I take care of the maitenance, hook-up and disconnect. Not to mention she's very attractive, bright and she likes as well as loves me. A wife like her, cool MH, and a couple of muscle cars. Life is good!

A BIG welcome from East Tn. Presently 23 deg. and sunny skies.
You will find an awful lot of information here on The Forum.
Don't be afraid to ask questions-someone has "been there - done that"
that will hopefully point you in the right direction.
Again WELCOME...
Safe journeys...

Darrell & Lynda;

Congratulation on the purchase of your 2000 Storm and your decision to get back into RVing. Also congratulations on your retirement. I think it is great when both can drive. I got sick on one trip and my DW drove 400 miles that day. Post often and share your RV adventures with us. Don't be afraid to ask questions as we have a great group here who like to help when they can.
