Delores from CT

Hi all, new member here. My husband and I bought a 2019 Thor ACE 27.2. Overall we love the layout and features of our unit but have been extremely disappointed in the sheer number of things we've had to get repaired so far, thankfully all under the 12 month warranty (dreading when that runs out!). The worst is the kitchen sink drain connection (PVC to flex) which had been repaired twice already. 😓 The most annoying is the Axxera AVM111NAV. Seems there is little to no QC; if anyone has helpful suggestions for us, they're be appreciated! Just got her put to bed for the winter so we're already looking forward to Road Trip 2020. 😁

All too common across the board in the RV industry. For sure you or your husband need to learn to do repaira yourselves. Otherwise it can wind up cosĺting you a small fortune paying for someone else to do it.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

Yours is not an uncommon complaint with the lack of quality control during the build across the industry. Unfortunately Thor is one of the worst so you maybe in for a lot of repairs in the future. As you get towards the end of your warranty period make sure you document EVERYTHING that is wrong with the coach as well as what you have had to repair and give it to your dealer so there is no question on future possible warranty coverage.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure!
