Excited Newbie

Hi everyone:

Hope this doesn't post twice - accidentally pushed a wrong key. I'm a single female from northern California and just purchased a new Itasca Navion IQ (25 feet). I've never RV'd before, so am looking forward to learning as much as I can. It's all quite overwhelming right now, but I hope it'll get easier with time.

If anyone has any basic suggestions for a first-timer, I'd love to hear from you. So glad I found this site as I've already learned a lot from reading many posts.

Thanks in advance for any information you provide or just a hello.

Any questions you have just ask on here and someone will help you figure it out. The best way I found to learn is try everything before you go on your first trip. Another is to take short trips till you get use to it. Welcome to the forum and have fun.

Howdy and welcome. Congrats on your new RV! If you haven't taken delivery yet, take advantage of the delivery inspection and ask all the questions you can think of. There are lots of helpful Youtube videos on RV topics, too. Good luck and have fun.

Welcome to the Fourm as everyone else has said. Beautiful coach and as it is new, you should have many years of trouble free camping ahead

Keep up on its required maintenance, get a good tire gauge and check the required tire pressure for your tires.

Get the movie RV with Robin Williams it is a good instructional video on what not to do and great entertainment

Most of all, enjoy your new Motorhome you are sure to meet some great people and one old grouch

Hi Monik, welcome to IRV2. This is the best place for you to learn and also make new friends. Be sure to check out the solo RVers forum further down the page. Read your manuals carefully and try everything out to be sure it works properly. Practice setting up and breaking camp. It really gets easier every time. Be sure to have a check list before you set out on a trip to be sure the slides are in, the antenna down, the compartments locked etc. Enjoy and safe travels.
