First coach!

Hello everyone

I picked up an 86 Eleganza... Gm p30 chassis.. I think it's a 29ft.

70k miles 269hours got it cheap... starts well drives great!! Onan 5kw generator..

I do have some questions... can I paint the outer skin?
I'm working on the roof and inside now.. the roof is fiberglass..

Starting the remod...
New floors and walls..

Congrats & welcome to iRV2. Looks like a classic! We've got a wealth of knowledge for older RV's in the Vintage Forum. You can also post questions there for help.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Looks like an exciting and challenging project but when it is done it will truly be yours. (Can't help with the paint question BTW)

Assuming the exterior is fiberglass, it gets painted all the time. Go find yourself a custom body shop, not Maaco, not Earl Scheib, not any of those $99.99 shops. Get a quality, custom paint job that you'll be proud to show off.
