First Motorhome
Hello,
I am new to the Motorhome World. In fact we are starting to look at purchasing a motorhome this year. I have been to several RV shows and visited several dealerships. I am looking closely at the Allegro 36LA. If anyone has any advice on this motorhome I would appreciate the info. Thank You.

I have a Tiffin Phaeton 40QHB with all the bells and whistles and I wouldn't change it for anything. You can not go wrong with any Tiffin. Be sure to check on the factory support that you can get on the MH you choose. I bet you'll end up with the Tiffin.

Thanks for the welcome. We like the quality in the Tiffin. We are also looking at the Georgetown XL 352QS & 378TS, and the Thor Challenger 35HT. There are so many out there it gets confusing at times. We are trying to stay focused and not make a quick decision.

Hit the tiffin owners forum and ask specifically about year and model.

Our first coach was a 36LA. It handles well, has more than enough storage both inside and outside. We had very few issues during the eight months we owned it. Like all gas units it can be a bit noisy when pulling grades but not so bad you can't hold a conversation with your copilot. We installed a Star Tune that helped with the quick shifting on slight upgrades. I did not need to add any steering stabilizer to keep it tracking well on the highway. You will feel some push from a passing semi but not bad. Even my DW didn't think it was a big deal.
I really think it's one of the best gas units you can get.

Howdy and welcome to the forum. You'll get plenty of answers over in the Tiffin forum. They stand behind their coaches so you shouldn't have any problems. Good luck and hope to see you down the road.
