Hi all. Just picked up our new to us 2000 Monoco LaPalma. Seems to be in great condition with only 28K miles. It has brand new tires. house and engine batteries and a new inverter. Bought it from Motorhomes of California in Costa Mesa, CA. - great folks to deal with. Have had travel trailers and 5th wheels but this is our first motorhome. All was going well on our trip back to Mammoth Lakes, Ca. until a gravel truck got too close passing me on the right and knocked off the passenger side mirror with his mirror. Ordered a replacement from Amazon. Then a while later my wife, who was following me, informed me that the awning was coming out. Don't know what the problem is there. I stopped and tied it off and made it back with no more problems. We have a winter home in Casa Grande, AZ and will use the motorhome to travel the summer months. Looking forward to learn all about Monocos on this forum.

Welcome from North Texas. We have a 2006 Holiday Rambler Navigator. Lots of very knowledgable and helpful folks here!! Let's hope your maiden voyage instances got all the kinks out lol!!! If it helps the day we drove ours off the lot, we got six miles down the road and the check transmission light came on. Had to go to Cummins to have the EGR valve replaced. The dealer was awesome and paid to have it fixed for us!!
Happy travels!!!
