first RV

Greetings from Lexington SC. First RV is a 86 holiday rambler 454chevy.
Took it to a State Campground last week and it rained all week.
Me and the wifes cat had several discussions, but I am still alive.

Hello and welcome to irv2!

There are good and bad things about RVing. Being rained in is not one of the good things, but I am sure you will find more good things on your next outing.

Hopefully everything got worked out during the rained in week with DW.

Good Luck and have fun!

Hi Sparky and welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear that your first trip was a wash out but like you said... you're still alive. Here's hoping that the next trip will be sunny with light breezes.

Welcome Sparky

Look at the time spent as an excellent opportunity to check for leaks, without running up the water bill.
Better luck next time.

Welcome Sparky,

What campground did you go to? I would highly recomend Lake Wateree State Park. I know it's a bit further for you than me, but great sites, nice lake, well run.
