First RV
Hello all! First time RV in Riverside CA... 2015 Thor Four Winds 31W ... with toad Dune Buggy.... finished our first trip to Oregon in July and loved it!

Congradulations on the rig! Nice looking RV! Are you newly retired or just getting started and years to work yet?
You will find a lot of information here and people like me who have not bought our RVs yet but trying to learn before we do. Many plan to retire soon and are in transition. Others have had their RVs for years or started with tents and moved on.
Either way, you will meet a lot of nice people and make friends. Have a blast while you travel the roads! Lynne

Nice rig. We've also looked at adding a Dune Buggy as a toad.
We're in Fallbrook. We've been talking to other locals about getting together locally for a weekend meetup.

Thanks all for the warm welcome! Beamisl- I'm 48... so I've got a ways to go before retiring. We tent camped for a long time, then had a popup trailer for about 10 years. Finally realized we were ready for something more comfortable
Just for Fun- weekend meet up sounds like fun! We're out by March Air Reserve Base in south riverside so not too far... We bought the rig and went immediately on 3 week trip to Oregon... and realized about a week in that we'd need a toad. Had to rent a car while in Monterey on our way back... streets too small there.
I'd always wanted to get an older VW.. had them as a kid, and when I realized my Mazda 3 wouldn't tow wheels down... it gave me the perfect excuse! I can't even feel the buggy behind the RV it's so light .
