First Time RV'er from California

Hello there Because of medical issues I had to sell my 1947 Cessna 120 of ten years and, not wanting to just sit down and die, we bought a beautiful, immaculate 2003 30' Itasca sunrise. We are in the process of loading it up with dishes, glasses, silverware, etc...and making it comfortable for our most precious cargo, our ten year old doggie.

Our new purchase was so complete that the previous owners new coach (28' Diesel pusher) needed over $7,000 in extras just to catch up. The most important guide to the decision was that my fell in love with it the moment she stepped inside (if the wife ain't happy NOBODY'S happy)

Our plans are in the next six to eight months will be to set up residence around Gardnerville/Minden Nev. area for a permanent move there preceding full retirement.

Well there you have it

Enjoy your retirement Dale! I'm sure you will love your new Coach and have many adventures and memories, and by the way, "RVrs don't die, they just drive away."

Welcome! If you want to potentially meet up with other like-minded folk (for example, some of us are indeed also pilots and aviation hobbyists), you might want to add your approximate location to your profile...
