First Time RVers

Hello everyone,

My name is Mike and my wife is Dell and we have a 16 month old daughter named Sarah. We are originally from Alabama, but we are currently in South Dakota where I am working and we decided we would get an RV so we wouldn't have to keep buying furniture for apartments that we rent and Sarah could be at home anywhere we went. We have started out with a 2002 Excel L35SKO and we will be pulling it with a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 w/Hemi. It did good coming from the dealership, but you could tell there was something back there. I know my wife and I will have lots of questions to ask because as I said this will be our first RV and we will be full timers. Glad to be here

Welcome...we too just joined, and it is our first RV as well...so, perhaps we can learn together. So far I have found this website to be super friendly and a wealth of knowledge and information.

Glad to have you here with us. If your plans are to winter in SD check into getting your rig prepared for cold weather. Either your CGs or a local RV dealer shoud be able to give you some cold weather suggestions.

Good luck and Happy Trails!!!
