First Timer!

We're renting an RV for our first trip and welcome all advice. We're long-time tent campers and I've always envied the people in campers and wanted to try it. I'm finally getting my chance. We'll be traveling around Utah and Arizona with two pre-teens.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

There's a wealth of knowledge among our members and we're all very happy to share it with you. We rented several times before buying. Make sure you get a thorough walk around before you drive off the rental lot, and ask lots of questions. Also make sure they give you an 800 number so you can contact their technical support if you have questions or problems on the road. Another great resource is the other campers around you in a campground. We couldn't get hot water or a TV signal on our first night out. The people next door were very helpful.

Enjoy the trip, you and the kids will have a blast!

Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the gang!

You better watch out! That RV'in bug bites HARD! Sure hope your first trip goes well. Be sure you understand everything about the RV you rent before you pull off the lot! Otherwise you may have some unexpected surprises along the way!

BTW, if you have any questions I would suggest that you post them over in the specific areas of the forum for best results. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area. Enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
