First timer-1994 Southwind 36AD Diesel

Hello all. I joined a few weeks ago and was planning to fly coast to coast to pick up a rig, 2014 Thor ACE 27.1...that didn't happen but today I did drive home a much different sort of RV. 1994 Southwind 36 DP. 29k miles, 323hrs on the 7.5kw gen. Although 20yrs older, I think it's much more our speed...cummins 5.9, Allison 6-sp, washer/dryer...The interior will be a job and a half but, the price was right. So, time to start reading like a fiend. Can anyone in the bay area recommend a shop to do an initial "going through" of stuff? Looks like the nearest Fleetwood dealer is in Davis which isn't far at all.

By the time I got home and parked, it was pretty dark but I'll get some picks out tomorrow. Looking forward to getting this thing dialed in and ready for service.

Thanks for reading.

And here she is....long neglected and a bit pissed off about it....looks like a reskin on the roof....add that to the list. We'll bring her back up to snuff.
