Florida Newbies

After years of thinking about getting into the RV life, and 3 years of trying to decide what works best for us (to tow or not to tow, etc.), we were rewarded for drawing out the process because the Itasca Viva (sister of the Winnebago Trend) was introduced. It's not for everyone, but it's perfect for us, and we fell in love with it at first sight. We opted for the 23L model because we wanted a dedicated bed. We've put over 4500 miles on it in just over two months, with no problems. Gas mileage is 14-15 mpg, depending upon load and elevation. My wife and I travel with two dogs who rule our lives--a standard poodle and a miniature poodle. We joined the forum to learn and share experiences.
