Hey Big Dave... welcome to the forum! I did a quick search and came up with a thread that will help you... http://www.irv2.com/forums/f22/floun...red-17922.html

I had never heard of it and just read a couple of these posts and it looks like it goes back a number of years and I'm not sure how many fans it had.

Good luck...

Rick

Hi bigdavey123,
Welcome to IRV2 and our forum. I'm sorry I can't help you on your particular question. To be honest I have never heard of a Flounder Motorhome but there is a vast knowledge base here and I'm sure somebody will post with your answer.

I looked online for their web page as pointed to in one of the forums, and got no hit - wonder if they are out of business already?

The link in post 2 from the 1st link will take you to a thread that explains it.

Yes, I understand. There was also a good reason Ford named one of their worst selling cars the "Edsel"
Sure it may have been a great product, but if it wasn't named properly, no one would buy it. As seems to be the case for the "Flounder"

By definition in the Merriam-Webster dictionary the word flounder means;

1) to struggle to move or obtain footing, thrash about wildly
2) to proceed or act clumsily or ineffectually

What where they thinking when they named this MH?

A 40' coach is pretty big for a gasoline powered chassis.

Flounder was built by CT Coach Works and was re badged the Siena. Their web site is still up at CT Coachworks LLC, home of the Siena Motor Home
