HI: Am new to forum,my better half and i are going to fulltime it in the near future.Simplify life a little and get off the merry-go-round. Right now we are looking at fifth wheel toyhaulers-RAPTOR VELOCITY and GULFSTREAM ENDURAMAX. Looking for input on quality of the manufacturers and if anyone out there is doing the same.If you are fulltiming is a toy hauler the way to go or fifth wheel pulling trailer behind with utv?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your upcoming changes.

I'll leave comments on the quality of the brands you mentioned to our trailer experts but to address your other questions:

Yes, many people are full timing and you might want to check out our full timing sub forum here for more research.

Speaking very (very) generally, advice is usually that if you are going to be traveling a lot a Class A motorhome is favored most often. If you plan to stay put in one place for extended periods... travel and then set up at another location and stay for another extended period, fifth wheels are very popular. I would think that if you want to full time in a toy hauler you'd want to be able to convert the garage into very usable living space when it is empty because space is very important when the rig is your home.

Best of luck to you...

Rick

Thanksur travels are the unknown-in gods hands-but for now it is a lifestyle change.with all the materialism in america and the economic sellout by uncle sam,we are going to get back to the basics-roof over our head, food to eat,and live-not work allthe time
