Germans say hi

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum and just like to introduce myself ("us") real quick.
We, that being my husband and myself. We are a German couple that loves travelling and exploring the world.
We are currently working and volunteering in Belize/Central America. (anybody interested in our blog link, let me know... I know it is not appreciated to post links in the very first post )
Our next adventure will be a 'driven adventure'- camping from East to Western Canada; then along the Western USA.
We are neither totally newbies to camping nor absolute experts. Our camping history includes places in Europe as well as some beautiful sites in the US.

We just started planning our trip, so I'm looking forward to all your valuable advise!

Thanks so much
Kerstin

Welcome. Over the years I have had the opportunity to travel Internationally for Uncle Sam. I have seen some beautiful places, but nothing compared to what you may have seen. So post the blog link and let others enjoy, and dream.

P.s., my ancestry goes back to the 1800's in Borghorst, GE.

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome! Feels good

And even some fellow Germans, wow (even when it's been "only" a few decades ago )! That's wonderful! Actually I have friends in Borghorst; beautiful landscape, nice people! You should visit it!

We are always happy to have new readers and followers for our blog!
The address is Sinnvolle Reise and almost daily updates on the facebook group Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More. For the camping adventure we will have a new blog. I'll let you know once it is ready!

And thanks a lot for the invitation! We sure will consider Highway #1 in BC(Exit 119) for our route planning!

Have a wonderful weekend all
Kerstin
