Hi all. Just want to share being newbies and all. Moving back to Canada in August, from Kingston Jamaica starting retirement. Have to take my air brake and driver courses then get into our 2015 Thor Tuscany 45' MT and will be hauling a 27" Predator trailer with a 2015 Fiat Convertible and a 2011 Can-Am Spyder RSS. Biggest thing I've ever driven was a six person RV in New Zealand years ago. Needless to say I feel a bit apprehensive about going down the road in something this big. Planning on heading out to Western Canada in September and then down to California for Christmas then head East through southern states. If anyone has recommendations for places to stay along the way I will appreciate it. Thanks.

No recommendations on where to stay but a warning. Calif. has a strict 65' maximum length law. As well as a maximum speed law of 55 MPH for 3 axles or more or towing a trailer. Get caught for the maximum length law and not only do you get a citation they won't let you pull the trailer away from the spot where you were ticketed.

Hate to see that happen so be aware that some other US States have maximum length laws.

Thanks but ouch! We plan to tour the US during the winter months in Canada. Are all States as tough/ Surely with all the RVs on the road we would not be the only ones towing a trailer> Any suggestions? I looked at the Hydralift for the Spyder but really pricey.
