Getting Ready for Shakedown Cruise

Hi...my husband and I just recently bought our first RV...a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and are loving it. We are fulltimers and getting ready to hit the road in September. We wanted to make sure everything was in order before beginning our trip up to the east coast. We'll be gone for a couple of months and we're trying to remember that we're semi-retired. Fortunately, our business allows us to function no matter where we are.

I just downloaded Microsoft Streets & Trips 2011 to plan our trip. I'm slowly working my way through the program. I want to add Civil Wars sites to our trip but haven't quite figured out how to do that.

Any advice or tips are welcomed by us newbies. We're excited and so far the people we've met at the KOA where we're parked are everything that we'd heard about. Great people all around.

Check out this site for POI to load into MS S&T

MAP OVERLAYS

They include everything from parks to dump stations to fuel stops.

Thanks Larry for posting the additional POI's. I spent most of yesterday planning and reading the Help section. It's a pretty neat program and I'm enjoying it.

jminyard...we do feel fortunate to have a small business...especially during these tough financial times. Our whole goal in the business was to have something to fall back on...just in case. However, we are ready to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. We earned it
