Getting road ready

In the coming year Jack & Jolly (J&J) plans to roam the open roads and we need advice on the various issues we are to in-countered when one takes the plunge. We welcome any advice to help us ease into our new life-style.
We'll be touring in a 36ft, 2005 Alfa /Seeya fiver being pulled by Ford F550.
Hope to "see-ya" on the road!

Take your time and enjoy it.

Saw a post a while back about someone trying to do 4000 miles in two weeks. Terrible idea. Since retiring and traveling more, we try to limit to 6 hours a day driving and try to never drive more than 3 days without a layover.

This way we get time to enjoy this great country and make some new friends along the way. Hope to see you somewhere down the road. I'll be the one with a big brown dog ( Jake ) sitting in the passenger seat. Wife will be on the couch with Taz, the cat.
