Glad to be here

Hello from British Columbia

Retired antique furniture restorer{40yrs} with a 1984 Dodge Class B.

Live in south western B.C. 20 min north of the border with my brother and family till my health gets better. Two new knees.

Looking for collectable RV to restore. I've redone 4 collectable trailers and converted 3 buses.

Steve.

fasteddy, from the cold country, welcome to iRV2. You can qualify to be a member of the Vintage RV Owners group...

We just put new carpet and vinyl in out 79 Silver Streak....looks like a new trailer. People keep asking what kind of Air Stream we have.....not funny to a Silver Streaker.
Love our Silver Twinke.

Ken

TXiceman, got my lesson early about telling a Silver Streak owner that they owned a nice Air Stream.

I would rather try to catch running wide open chain saws. It would be safer. LOL.

Justimagination, thank you both. I have been on a couple of other MH web sights and they were no where as welcoming or as much fun as here.

The last trailer I did needed a little wood replaced in one corner.
When I finished I had a pile of metal siding and a few appliances and cupboards and a bare frame.
I can tell you the determination came and went like the waves on a beach. I was able to supply a lot of fun to the slackers around my buddys body shop as I did it.

When I finished it the boys were bringing friends from far and wide to show them and brag that they had seen the whole thing from start to finish.

Never got a chance to use it. A young couple came by to get some body work done and offered me 4 times what it was worth. It wasn't so much the money but it just seemed that they were the ones to own it. Never saw the trailer again.

Thank you.

Steve.
