Just be aware of the traffic on I-35 going thru Austin. One time when coming home from a day trip my GPS asked if I wanted to switch to Pedestrian Mode.

Yep, I-35 is best avoided as much as possible.

We stayed at this park for a week over this past July 4th holiday and had a great time. The park was very clean and well maintained. The management was extremely helpful in getting us set up as well as during our stay. The restrooms and pool areas were great. We will be going back this year to visit relatives and will try to stay here. I found the traffic to be like most other large cities, however, and we tried to avoid rush hour where possible. I hope you find this helpful, and hope you enjoy your visit.

i think that park is about 8 miles from me off the toll road. no traffic at all.

very nice place and friendly managment. i use to take my 48 foot race trailer there and they let me dump my tanks since they had room to negociate such a large trailer. i would go there and camp, but i just live a few miles away
