Greetings and Salutations!
I am jumping into the RV life and I love it. I can't wait to take my "new" Winnie out! New is "new to me", that is. She is a 1978 Minnie Winnie, Dodge chassis, bought and given as a gift from my Mother! She knew I always wanted one. It is definitely not state-of-the-art, but I love the quaintness of it. All the charm, you know.

 Welcome Papabearxl, not just to the best forum on the web but to the wonderful world of rving. You might want to check out the Vintage RV section below.
That Dodge chassis with the 360 engine and 727 transmission was quite a workhorse and should serve you well.

Thanks to all of you. I have checked the site out for a little bit, and you guys (and gals) seem to be extremely knowledgable,courteous, and a great bunch of people. Hope I can live up to the examples the rest of you have made, for those of us joining.

Welcome R.V.Lady.  Hope you enjoy the forum as much as I have.  The best thing to do with your 5er is to hook it up and head out. Go north, it's already hot in the south.

RV Lady, let me use my forst "Welcome", to you. I hope you enjoy the 5er. I was looking for a 5er to tow behind my 2000 Sierra 2500, just didn't find one that I could get. Had some issues with budget, but am EXTREMELY glad I have my gift,in my 78. Hope to see ALL of you out there,on the road, when I get to roam around!
