Good morning from North Carolina

Hello everyone. I'm new to the community and look forward to participating.

We are retired and travel in a Safari Cheetah 38PDQ with a 17 month old Border Collie. We normally pull a Jeep Wrangler.

We have one child and three grandchildren.

It became obvious years ago that I learn more by listening than talking so I may not post a lot. I'm thick-skinned and respond well when corrected so if I make a mistake please let me know.

Thanks

Thanks Chickadee.

I used to work for an electrical utility. I was a lineman for about 15 years. While working an ice storm early one morning I was on a pole in the back yard of a very spry 86 year old lady. I had cleared some limbs that had pulled the service off her house. As I was climbing down the pole she walked up and said, "Listen you knot dodging, wood walking rascal, don't leave those limbs in my backyard!". Of course I loaded them in the truck when I left.

We just returned from a 3 week trip the our coast. We're doing some maintenance and talking about our next trip in a few weeks. We enjoy visiting areas close to historic sites. Makes us wish we'd payed more attention during history classes in school.
