Good Morning! New Member Intro:

Another new member checking in.

Came from an RV'ing family, Dad towed a tent trailer behind a Hudson Hornet, a small Shasta behind a '56 Chrysler Imperial Hemi Head, and finally a Terry behind an International TravelAll. So I came by this fever honestly.

Our first rig was an '85 Shasta Class C new and we ran the wheels off it... my kids still talk about the memories and my daughter is already on their 3rd RV. My son will come around eventually. Got into a '99 Pace Arrow Class A gas after we got tired of CLIMBING UP into bed.

But now we're embarking into new (to me) territory with a '07 Holiday Rambler Neptune XL Diesel rig. Have only had it a couple of days and I suddenly don't feel so experienced anymore. Looks like I need to learn an entirely new vocabulary.

Figured it was time to return to the forums and ask for advice from the experienced. So.... thanks in advance.

Hi Craig & Ruth

Welcome to IRV2

Glad to have you here with us.

You'll get the hang of everything quickly. You're gonna find a lot of helpful people in this forum that will be glad to answer your questions.

As a kid, the first car I remember my dad having was a Hudson Hornet. I always thought that was a very cool car.

Good luck with your new HR

Happy Trails!!!
