Welcome

This is a great forum. The moderators step in whenever anyone gets too abusive or snarky, or even off topic. I love this forum and recommend it constantly in the campgrounds.

RV.net is not that bad! Just like many other forums, there are some good days and then there are some bad ones.

Welcome to the forum, lots of good information here as well as general conversation. I can listen to opposing sides argue the merits of their favorite brand/model/destination/recipe/etc. all day on here, if I want political arguments I can just turn on the TV (television not tow vehicle).

I read RV.net, this forum and the Forest River Forums. RV.net isn't too contentious for me, but I don't bother accessing many of their individual forums. The "ask Marcus" forums are a bit tedious, IMO.

The first RV forum I found about 10 years ago and whose "handle" escapes me, was an un-moderated one. I only stayed on it a few weeks. The trolls and flamers were too much for me.

Hi Dan, welcome to IRV2. I started out on a few forums and now I only participate on this one. The moderators try to keep control of the threads and also there is a red triangle on the far left bottom if you feel something is really out of line, and want to report it. Most of the folks on here are real nice and will help you out. Hope you enjoy your time here.

Pretty much the same here, got tired of having to defend myself there even when posting quotes right from the manufacturers, although that happens here too.

But at least the moderators here try to keep things peaceful; not so "over there." Their mods are part of the problem.

IMO, rv net has fallen on bad times cause of the moderators. If you cannot see the collusion between them and the different threads, then you really dont belong there.

This forum is good for rving info, rv net is good for , hmmmm what are they good for?
