Got tired of RV.net

I'm Dan from Ohio and was a member of RV.net. Frankly, I got tired of it. While some people were very helpful, others were just plain short and rude. I actually found out about this forum while over there and have been lurking for awhile. Everyone seems very friendly and nice so I decided to make a switch. Anyway, it's good to be here and hope to get more ideas and help.

Even when folks disagree on here, they are usually pretty civil about it!

I still visit several RV forums. I think you will find all types on all of them. Some helpful, some not so much. Same thing with friendlyness, (is that a word?). That said, welcome to iRV.

and well said! I belong to several forums each that cover my three of my favorite areas of interest. Classic Cars and/or Mustangs, Shooting and RVing and have yet to see one that doesn't have a couple of individuals that come back, IMHO, with some less than stellar answers and/or attitudes, and that includes this one. I've learned to do far more reading than I do posting and take most of that with a grain of salt. Read and take the good that the majority post and ignore the rest.

The one part of RV.net that I enjoyed is the thread on Rv Parks. Mostly civil on that one and there seems to be a lot more questions asked on park suggestions than we have here.
