Hi all,
We finally took the plunge after much thought and looking, and bought a class A Europa... (yes if there are any other Europa owners on here I'd like to hear from you,,, very rare) Anyway,, as in the title,, everything was hinged on taking our Danes with us. We finally found this 'different' class A after focusing on class C's... It's a 96,, 27' , and after our first trip from AR to AZ and back, we Love it !!! Sure it was different for all of us , but it was a great trip of 2400 miles... No problems,, and the crazy rv averaged 13.29 mpg !! Yes, a gas motor,,, 350 chevi,, and it did just fine... I was worried (being an old hotrodder and current trucker) that it would be very underpowered,,, but it did just fine. (65mph most of the time) .
We are working on getting the small things fixed we want,,, but nothing major... This thing was built great !
Everybody take care,,, and if you ever see a Europa from AR,,, please come up and say HI !!
Oh ya,, among others, we got to talk to a couple our age( I figure) from the Netherlands,, that were renting a class C ... Super nice people... That was cool....
Darel
