Hallo to All:
By way of introduction, I am Arnold, a 65 year young widower, looking forward to a lot of exploration, new places, new experiences and most important new friends. I have a 1999 Sahara Safary 35ft. diesel with ~~65000 Miles. I am looking forward to a sunny Christmas and a New Year celebration in a bathing suit. In a month or so I will take it in for a complete mechanical health check. I am aware of a couple of things,
1 Fair bit of play in the steering, resulting in constant correction needed to follow the road.
2 It has that BF Goodrich (Velvet I think)_ _ _ _ _ Ride (Sorry forgot) which allows it to bottom out when encountering what I would call medium road bumps at highway speeds (such as are to be found in Texas). Thinking of adding air suspension.
I am mechanically inept, if it needs a key to make it go BRUM BRUM I am lost. I know, not a good thing! I am however very good in all manner of home renovations, ceramic walls, floors, hardwood, laminates, framing, plumbing, roofing, electrical etc. but I prefer to let automotive matters in the hands of experts.
Now to my question; as you probably know, the kitchen and living are push-out is carpet and hardwood. I would like to replace the carpet and the hardwood throughout. Steam cleaning just does not do it. How do I get the carpet and wood out and back under the edge of the push-out????????
