Like many of the intros I have read through I too am a Newbie to the RV world. We recently purchased an 1988 Avalon 32' self contained unit that, umm simply put has, um some issues.
got it for a steal though so issues are expected....
Hoping as this adventure begins I will be able to find help learning about the many problems I will be tackling to make this unit a better place.
We don't travel a lot, rather we do volunteer work with the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay WI and also work at several of the State 4H Horse Association shows and the trailer will help reduce our costs of housing while doing the volunteer work. Might not be a saver with all the work to start with but pretty sure it will save us on expenses in the near future.
Thankfully the electric system does work for sure, though I want to replace the old lighting fixtures asap as they sure do heat up quickly. Will be testing the LP soon as well as the plumbing after we fix the intakes that are damanged.
So let the fun begin.
