My good friend tommygfunk told me about this site and thought it would be a great place for me to hang out too.

About 6 years ago I gave my old tent trailer to my brother when my folks kindly bought me my first motorized RV. She's a 24 ft 1987 Turtletop Terravan on a Ford E-350 chassis. I have yet to see another like it.

I've traveled about 7,000 miles with it since I got it... In fact, my first long trip with it was out to Ohio to meet Tom and his family the first time and boy was Tom surprised at that one since he had no clue I was coming out!

Below are a couple pics of my Turtle. Has anyone ever come across one of these before?

Btw... No It's not slow like a turtle... The big 460 V-8 move it along quite nicely!

Ray

Thankfully I live up on a hill away from the Blackstone River which is supposed to crest at 10 ft above flood level so it's safely parked. If the dams let go, I'll be needing a big outboard motor and pontoons on it to go anywhere! LOL

The one thing I forgot to mention about my rig is that it has a fiberglass body so I don't have to worry about rot.
