Just thought I'd drop in and say hey. While I am here may I ask a question. Just recently purchased a new 2005 Kountry Star, quad slide out with a 330 Cummins. So far I have really enjoyed the amenities and creature comforts Newmar has to offer. But I have recently ran across a problem that can only be rectified with dry weather. It seem that when the awning (a Weather Pro Power Awning) gets wet, it ceases to function. Any tips other than "Don't get it wet".
Thanks
Harry

Harry, welcome to irv2. We are glad to have you join us here and look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. Have you confirmed that the setting on the awning are set correctly? You might want to call the mfg. to get assistance on the issue. Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks Mike, I figured that it would probably come to that. I did mention it to the dealer I bought it from but the response I got was "well have to wait until it ceases to function" gremlins. I have to admit I understood. Thanks again and let me say I really enjoy this site. ..informative....
Thanks again
Harry

Harry, Welcome to the IRV2 website, I read that you got the information you were asking about, I also have the Weather Pro awning and that hasn't happen to ours so the suggestion to call the manufacture sounds like the way to go. Ed.S
