Greetings
Hello,
New member of iRV2. We have been rv’ing since 2012. We started with a 27 foot Rockwood travel trailer (32’ overall) and now have a 2016 DYNAMAX Isata 31’ touring coach; diesel, 4x4, f550 chassis. I understand we have one of the last two made in the old style prior to forest river acquiring the Dynamax brand. We are very pleased with the switch to a C class rv. We migrated to a C class as the wife was not comfortable towing the trailer. We searched long and hard for this unit and it hit on all but 1 must haves on our list - desired a shorter unit. So far 31’ total length has posed less trouble finding camping spots than the trailer AND we have not suffered for space inside and gained in maneuverability. We currently head out at least once a month with a 3 week continuous roam once a year. Once we retire, we will be on the road quite a bit exploring all of North America. We tend to camp at primitive campsites though do use full hookup locales for stop overs (overnights while on way to our destination). We travel with our 3 Boxer dogs and cat. This coming year we will dinghy tow a F150 and will probably be referencing the forum for tips.
Happy and safe travels to all!

Welcome. We love our Isata (25 feet overall with a full side slide). It is a bit tight on storage but we make do. We are in it for 3-4 months at a time a year touring around and love, just love it. We are about to embark on our next trek (3 monther) starting late January.
Continue to enjoy the rig and the adventure

from WA State!
Always glad to welcome newcomers to RV'ing. I started in 1957 when my parents rented a TT and then ordered their first in 1958. I got my first TT in 1968 and have had various RV's ever since.
