Hello all,

New to this forum and relatively new to RVing. In July of 2005 my wife (Janice) and I purchased our first MH, a 97 Winne Vectra 34'. So far everything about the MH and the life style has been great. Last year we took our first extended trip (two weeks from CT to Mount Rushmore, SD) and we have been on several short excursions (coast of Maine, the Cape, campgrounds in CT and Mass). We use to own a sailboat (C&C 34), hence the name, which made the transition to the MH quite easy. As a matter of fact, there was something about the Vectra that reminded us of the boat, so we both knew we were going to buy her the minute we walked onboard.

We both are still working so the really long trips are still out in the future. No kids, although Jan considers our three cats our children and they travel with us. Just wanted to extend a hello for now and we are looking forward to the forum.

Jan & Lou

Welcome aboard! Three cats, three kids - you probably make fewer stops than I do!

Jan & Lou,
Welcome to iRV2. You will find many resources here, and you just might make a friend or two as well.

If interested, why not pop in to the iRV2 Chatters chat room. We are there just about every evening starting around 8:30pm eastern. It is a fun group and many of us have met several times in various places around the country.
