Greetings All...New member from Sequim, WA

This is a great forum! Happy to be aboard. A little background on my DW and myself. We are both 55 yrs. of age, all kids grown and on their own and doing well. I am retired US Navy. 1973 to 1994 as enlisted man. Highest rank held...Senior Chief Hull Tech. Recently completed my bachelors degree in environmental sciences at Wright State University in Ohio. We moved back to Sequim a couple of years ago. DW has been working as an LPN for past 35 years.

We were planning to chase that almighty dollar after I graduated, however we started to realize long time friends were leaving this earth without ever having to have any fun with their remaining years. We have always been and have loved "boondocking" for many, many years. So, anyway we were going to wait to "fulltime" when DW and I turned 62 and start drawing SS early. NOT! DW woke me up in the middle of the night not long ago and said phooey on that! Let's get ready and go fulltiming ASAP. Why wait! We have do live our dream before it's too late! WOW, was I happy to hear that!!!

Besides, She said you have been upgrading and modding our 5ver to allow us to be more comfy with plenty of power etc...etc.. etc...so let's sell everything and get going. We can work wherever and when ever we need to. As you can imagine I have stepped up my efforts to high gear to finish up the 5ver and future planning. We hope to meet many of you on the road out there somewhere in the near future. BTW I have worked part time for many years even when I was in the Navy as an RV Tech, so if anyone out there needs any advice or help I would be glad to do just that. No Charge! especially if we happen to cross trails out there somewhere. Well, gotta go for now, but I will be lurking here on the forum most days.

Welcome to the forum, hope to see you on the road. Enjoy your Full Timing experience, there are many wonderful "Boondocking" places throughout the country. Also don't forget about the many Military Campgrounds/FamCamps located throughout the country. Good places to stop over at very reasonable costs. I to am a retired Navy E8 that lives not to far away from Sequim, Belfair.

Hello Pete and Michelle: Welcome to an awesome site. Before I start, THANK YOU SIR, for your service to this Great Nation. We may have a little something in common. My DW is originally from Washington State. We met while I was serving in the Air Force (61-65). After the first couple of dates the DW went home and told her mother she was going to marry a NY punk. Three months later we tied the not, that was some 47 yrs; 2 kids; and 6 grands ago....We're down here in Fl for the last 24 yrs. Life has been great. Yes, when we look around, there is no guarantee for tomorrow so enjoy today. Wish you both well, safe and memorable traveling.... bill (& Sandi)
