Greetings from a Newbie
My wife and I decided that we had enough of expensive holidays going to far off places and decided to take up RVing to enjoy a more comfy way of camping and getting away. We could write a book on our antics, trials and tribulations of sleeping on the gound and tent trailers and like the idea of "Roughing it Smoothly". I came across iRV2 on the web looking for some answers to questions on the RV we purchased and decided to join the "Club". The responses to anything I have asked from you members has been wonderful! I have enjoyed reading some of the threads on peoples experiences, laughed till I had a sore gutt on many and look forward to the possibililty of meeting many of you on the road to relaxation. We will probably be part-timers for many years yet as my wife's lifestyle requirements currently have me on the "Freedom 98" plan. Happy travels to all and see you out there.

Hey Les - I was poking around and noticed you didn't get as much welcome as a fine member such as yourself deserves - so WELCOME!!
Good luck with your new coach - I'm mean that other coach - no wait - the one you're looking for now! The journey is the destination - the saga continues.

Welcome Dogpatch!
You will find this forum to be very helpful and informative. Feel free to ask questions if you get stuck on any issue.
As you get more into the RV life, you may find yourself Mutating. This is a good thing. Have no fear of it. Some of us have Mutated into "mascot rescue" mode by adopting many sorts of (mostly) inanimate mascots.
As you go deeper into RVing, you may ask yourself, "do I need rope lights?" Rope lights are the bane of RVing and should be avoided at all costs.
Bacon, however, is a much revered, often maligned topic. Beware!
BTW, there is even a thread for RV Mutants that you may find amusing!
Okay, Les, I'm done poking you. For now. I look forward to a New Rig Show-Off from you one day soon.
Dave

You expect more from Les than his wife does Wayne.
Hey big fella, glad you finally decided to join the group. I think you should also consider changing your nickname to Ping Pong.
regards
Dennis

Alright you guys! I'm bustin a tear here over all your welcomes and well-wishing. Hard to believe that 3 years has gone by since that first post.
Learned a lot, shared a lot and have met some real characters here. Enjoyed it all and look forward to the next adventure.

We're all looking forward to your next shopping / buying adventure. Hope ya have a little more time to drive the next one home. Now for the hard part - finding a coach to match the Ford PU paint. Otherwise - I guess you'll have to start over there too.
