Greetings from Alabama

Here to introduce us. I'm Georgia and my DH is Percy. Bubba Lu is actually the RV, a 23.5 Lazy Daze Twin/King, 1994 version.

We aren't really Alabamians, we are from the PNW, me a San Franciscoan by birth, Mr. Percy a Portlander. Portland was where we spent the majority of our adult lives.

Bubs is our 2nd RV - the first one (which we gave to our kids) was a Class C Fleetwood. We love what we have now, an ideal floor plan and no wasted bed space.

We have a boat load of pets, with no idea how we could possibly travel full time with them all. Two dogs, 2 cats, 2 budgies, 1 guinea pig and 1 bantam house chicken. So right now it's weekends only, taking the dogs with us.

Percy is a pilot with an Ercoupe, and I'm a dedicated craft person. Right now I'm doing fused glass but will need a smaller kiln to take on the road.

Looking forward to getting to know all you fun people.

Georgia

Georgia and Percy;

We are glad you joined us. As for your traveling companions all I can say is WOW. Bev and I have 1 cat and we leave him home when we travel. We are older and are afraid of falling. The cat is always under foot. Browse the forums that interest you and don't be afraid to ask questions as we have a great group here who like to help when they can. Post often and share your RV adventures with us.

Don

Thanks, everyone. It's a fact we have more animals than brains! And that's with the loss of our skunk this past spring and our possum last winter! We aren't spring chickens ourselves, 76 for me and 72 for the hubby. Our original dog knows to stay out from under foot and the little found pup will likely spend a fair amount of time in his crate.

Welcome to the irv2 gang, Georgia and Percy (and "Bubs")! We travel with two Westies and are very thankful for the space the slideouts give us to "dance around each other." Jump right in and enjoy the folks and forums here!
