Greetings from Bothell, WA

Want to say "Hello," but have to keep the intro short, lots to do! Moved back to the Pacific Northwet (no, not a typo) from Borrego Springs, CA intending to stay in my 26' bumper-pull for "a few weeks" while waiting for my house to sell. That was 4 months ago, I'm in a beautiful RV park here, and now I'm considering up-sizing to a more liveable RV rather than buy a house here. The only thing I'll miss is my garage to play in. (I considered a toyhauler long and hard, but it won't make sense for me, more on that later).

I'll be posting a few questions in the 5er forum, but wanted to say "Hello."

So ... "Hello."

Best luck back in the beautiful PNW.

Just check the roof seals and trade your shorts for coats and sweaters

And, nothing is forever...you can always split the year. RV's are always about options.

Safe travels

Welcome!!!!...............I will second the advice of scarab0088. Make sure of roof, window, and all aperture sealing. As a long time PNW RV'er, this is great RV country, sometimes pretty wet and cool. Hope you find what you want for living............Jim

Welcome. We lived in Bothell from 1974 to 1992. Nice place. We had a smallish house on the hill just south of Inglemoor HS. Moved to Everett, then retired from Boeing 6 years later and moved to Anacortes.

Yeah, it can be wet, but when we lived in Tidewater Virginia, we'd get a PNW month's worth of rain every summer afternoon - usually 3" in about 45 minutes. On one occasion, the thunderstorm stayed around and we got almost 13" between 4:00pm and 6:00 am. That equates to about 6 months' worth in Anacortes.

Welcome, are you staying at the lake pleasant RV park, we stayed there for a while till we had to leave, it was a 2 year waiting list to get a full time spot, the Seattle area is NOT a very friendly full time RV town, we ended up moving to fall city for the summer

Yes, I am at Lake Pleasant. As I mentioned, I had no intention of full-timing when I arrived, and this park had a lot to do with the fact that I even began considering it. I was super-lucky to get a full-time spot.
