Hello to all. We are Ed and Lessie. No RV yet, but we have named her TARDIS already. We are preparing to put our house on the market this spring in hopes of being on the road by fall (dreaming big, I know).

Welcome to iRV2! We're over in Hunterdon County, NJ and have been RV'ing for a number of years. This forum should give you a ton of information in making your transition.

I think you will hear a common theme among the RV'ers to rent a RV and do a few trips before dumping the house and moving to 'full time' RV mode. Dream big but execute in measured steps!

Good luck!

Thank you for the great advise. We have indeed rented and enjoy the experience. We have been in the planning stage for over 7 years. Even if we were not going fulltime, the house was still going on the market. New Jersey is just too, too expensive to live on retire pay.

Welcome from Bridgewater. We're into our third year of RV'ing and have been having a blast.
