Greetings from Oregon

Spring is almost here and we're slowly crawling from our damp winter caves here in Oregon.

To make a formal introduction, I've been involved with the RV industry since around 1985 when I was employed by Trailer Life magazine and MotorHome magazine as the technical editor for those publications. I spent 18 years on staff and now continue contributing to those magazines, including as the monthly co-author of the RV Clinic column in TL, as a freelancer based in Eugene, OR. I've also started a gig as co-host for Rollin' On TV, a new cable TV show about RVs and the RV lifestyle. We're generating the first seasons' shows as we speak, and it's set to launch mid to late-April this year.

This looks like a fun and informative RV enthusiast forum.

Welcome Jeff from a fellow Oregonian, the old KIT and I are currently parked out on Sauvie Island up North. Only wish I could get paid to write like you, but then I'm still catching up on my backlog for my blog so I can actually start to write in it regularly.

i envy you as you live in one of the nicest areas on the west coast. we live in san jose, ca but own a few homes in cottage grove & creswell & travel up there about 4 times a year to look in on them, & plan to move into one of them in 3 to 5 years. there is so much to see & enjoy in the "wet" half of oregon (& washington). we never get tired of traveling around up there. we plan to stay at "the patio" rv park in blue river again this summer & kayak down the mckenzie river. just beautiful!
