Greetings from Southeast Missouri

Thanks for accepting our membership in the forum. We're in Southeast Missouri about 25 miles North of the Arkansas line. We have a 24 ft Gulfstream bumper pull trailer that we pull with a pick up. Thanks again...

rbassham,

Welcome to the forum! There is a lot of good info here and if you are experienced please leave some good advice.

Fill out your membership info (rig type and TV type) and if you have you have questions it helps others to know how to answer. This is a great hobby and we love talking to others about their experiences.

Where are you. I spent my younger years around Poplar Bluff, Ellsinore, etc.

Hi...
I was born and raised at Poplar Bluff and except for a few years away have lived here all my life. Actually we now live at Stringtown...if you know where that is...RB

Hi rbassham and welcome!

I went to SIU Carbondale back in the late 1960’s during the period when it won the esteemed Playboy magazine Party School of the Year award three years in a row. Good times! I’m a geologist and back then I was an avid spelunker (caver) and used to love going to SE Missouri camping, cave exploring and tubing the beautiful rivers. The Current and Jacks Fork Rivers come to mind.

I've heard of Stringtown, but don't remember where it is. I was actually raised off B highway in Carter Co. B turns off right after you cross the Carter Co. line going West on 60.
If you know Dr. D.L. Davis at Poplar Bluff he's my cousin.
The owner of the Case tractor business, Mike Nelson, is a good friend.
