Greetings from Texas

We just took ownership of a new-to-us 2004 Dutch Star motorhome. My wife recently retired and I can work anywhere with an internet connection so we plan to change our scenery often. We are currently making plans for our maiden voyage - a two-night shakedown within 50 miles of home. Much to learn and much to look forward to!

Welcome aboard!

Great winter camping in Texas but the summers are a bit too warm for our blood.

David & Karen,

Congratulations. The Dutch Star is a great coach. And, Newmar is a great company. We are leaving San Antonio to go to Nappanee, IN this weekend for our one year warranty check up.

Our lives have changed for the better since purchasing our rig. We know your's will also.

Don

MikenAmber,
thanks a bunch, if all goes well I will be at the get together at Cut & Shoot
It is close enough that I can go alone just in case Floyd doesn't make it home in time. Some of you understand about 'truck drivers' and their time at home.. or sometimes lack of

SevenOaks -

Congratulations on BOTH your new "home" away from home and on your retirement..........lucky dogs!!!!

Enjoy that first ride out - you only get a few "firsts" in life, so enjoy the heck out of it!!! Don't be dismayed if there are a few little things to fix...it happens to all of us! Make sure you take "slobber rags" where ever you go because rv'ers LOVE to look at new rv's...in remembrance of when our rigs were brand new and in anticipation for the next one we're lucky enough to get!

Be sure to keep checking the SCS under Texas Boomers for news and announcements of all our rallies and campouts throughout the year (you can also check out the CALENDAR section and

we look forward to meeting ya'll in person soon!

Sandy

We're 4 hours and 20 minutes into our shakedown cruise and all is well! I think we're gonna like this!
