Cool Greetings - Newbie with lots of questions

Greetings All,

Just joined this forum and I have lots of questions to which I hope to find or get answers. Hopefully, ya'll won't think I'm a big dummy.

My partner and I are looking to buy a new 30' or so Class A Gas Motorhome. Although we did a little camping 35 years ago with a pick-up truck and 13' travel trailer, we are new and green in the motorhome market.

We plan to do extensive travel around the great USA, staying weeks to months in a location we like.

I will be posting some questions, hopefully in the correct forum area.

Thanks for a very informative community.

Welcome to the Forum! Check out PPL Motorhomes out of Texas. They show floor plans and have a quite a range of ages and prices. This is where we bought ours. A 2004 Winnebago.

Everyone who comes here is new and inexperienced and needs to learn and this place is great for it.

Some of the advice I got was to go to a dealership and ditch the salesman and just sit in the rig for a while. DO NOT buy until you have thought it through. Don't let a salesman push you. Is the shower big enough to move around in, is there enough storage for the things you want to take with you. Start a list of things to take.

RV shows, go to a few, they are everywhere. You see a lot of rigs here and there are often post of used rigs for sale. Check that out.

Under forums you have "IRV2 General Discussion and Just Conversation". You can post questions there.

Glad you joined us, we all have to learn and there is a lot of info here. Read some old threads and begin your education. Good Luck, Lynne
