Happy Thanksgiving from an Newbie
First time on the forum so I am still trying to figure out the best sites.
We have just purchased our first motorhome after many years with a 5th Wheel.
Thus this is my first experience with the Winngard theater/satellite control/power box.
What I am trying to find our is what is the easiest Way to hook a blueray player. I do have the standard issue Memorex DVD player hooked (factory) but many of our DVD's are now blueray
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Dean

Hi Dean! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
You didn't say how old the MH is. Most surround sound receivers in older MH's (like ours) had built-in DVD players, but they would not take BluRay. I replaced ours a few months ago with a new Denon receiver and Sony BluRay player. I used HDMI from the DVD to the receiver, then another HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV. I also had to add a powered subwoofer since the SW that was there was speaker-level, and the new receiver did not have a speaker-level SW output. One thing leads to another it seems!
Everything worked out great and it really sounds good now! Hope you get your problem solved. Enjoy the forum!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome it all depends on how its wired as stated earlier, ideally you would want to use HDMI for the best quality, if its a stand alone with HDMI it may literally be swap in, if it has a switch box, and other "fancy" equipment it will be a different solution, if you have easy way to access the TV and power a direct HDMI might be easiest, if the system is confusing so etimes the manufacturer of your rig may offer advice.
Enjoy your house on wheels with built in noisemaker
