Hello and welcom John01!
Congrats on the new rig. I think by long motorhomes they are talking over 40'. We see Class A's pretty much wherever we go. We just traded up to a 37' and don't forsee any problems. Happy Travels.

Hello and welcome to iRV2...we just purchased our National RV in Nov. , we haven't had a chance to take it out camping yet, the main problem we had, it didn't come with the owners manual....but that is easy to find here.......check out the National RV forum...lots of great info.....

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the amount of campgrounds that DO allow your Class A. Mine is 37' as well and I have only found one so far that couldn't accommodate it. It's more up to you and your ability to maneuver it. Until you get used to it I think you'll find plenty of places with pull through sites that are very easy to navigate. Mt. Pocono Campground is one place I stayed at which is only 75 miles from you. Twin Pine Grove is a really modern KOA that's less than 100 miles from you.

Welcome John and congratulations...the only problem I see in the length during my research is the National parks and State Parks...most of the pay sites accomodate all sizes.

Welcome John. I wouldn't worry about being 37'. Most parks will be able to accomodate you. There will be some state and national parks where length will be a limiting feature.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 40' and have never had any trouble finding a spot. I have had a few back in sites that were a bit tough to navigate. Overall I have never run in to a CG that couldn't accommodate my 40 footer.

If you are new to maneuvering something as big as your new coach, you may want to look for parks with pull through sites vs. back in sites.

Woodalls, Good Sam and other CG listing sites will typically tell you if the CG has pull throughs and how many.

Good luck and enjoy.

I have been a member all of 2 days and i can see by the 11 posts i have received already i am going to like this, when the season arrives and we get traveling i am looking forward to meeting some of you fine pilgrims, I have camped on and off all my life and have found campers are the nice"s and honest people in the country, I am retired form the trucking industry But my wife has a few more years to work. We will be pulling a 14 ft motorcycle trailer most of the time so if there are any bikers in the group maybe we can meet and ride, we have a 2008 Goldwing, I am an old codger 68 while my wife is a youngen early 50) I am looking for a 1 bike trailer to haul the bike (enclosed and as light as possible) if anyone has any info on such

As you can see by my Avatar I'm either a pilot or a motorcycle rider . Actually I'm both but I have a spankin new Kawasaki Concours that I'll be riding this coming season so we'll hope to get together as well at some point.

I've spent a lot of time checking out local campgrounds so if you have and questions, feel free.

There are a few other locals with an abundant amount of local camping suggestions as well. No sense leaving it in the driveway when a campground is a short drive away!
