Hello

Let me introduce ourselves, we are Donna & Lynn, our home base is in Illinois.
My husband & I sold our stick house & went fulltime in our Escalade Toy Hauler in July 2008. We pull with a 2008 Ford Super Dury 350, King Ranch. Our travel companians are 2 Min Pins, Zoe & Mia and a bob tail cat named Shiloh.
We are enjoying our travels & are currently hosting a State Park campground in Louisiana. This is 1 of 5 that we have hosted since Sept. 2008.
Just signed on to iRV2 today & looking forward to catching up on the forums. Sure looks like a lot of info out there.

Hello Donna and Lynne, Welcome to the forum and you have purchased a very nice unit in the Escalade. Betty and I looked at them when we purchased a different KZ toy hauler in 04.

We don't haul many toys, just a Honda Scooter & 2-- 3 speed bikes with coaster brakes. We also use the back area for our laundry / mud / storage room. Extra cabinets have been installed for our can't live without stuff. LOL

I talked with a lady a few years ago that set up her sewing and quilting room in the back of a New Horizon toy hauler. It was her idea of a "toy" hauler.

Hello

Sounds like a good idea to use the back of the toy hauler for a sewing / quilting room. Keeps everything out of the living area & all together.
I also do beading & all my supplies are in the back, however I usually take my projects outside to work on.
When we spend a lot of time in our campers we just have to do whatever works with our space. LOL
