Just found this web forum and decided to join up. I've owned a 2004 Forester for a little over a year now. I recently took a 2 week trip to Texas and back to pick up my granddaughter for the summer. After driving it 8 hours a day I nick-named it "Shake, Rattle & Roll". It does a lot of that! It's great for short trips and long stays but not so great for long trips and short stays. But, it's my home on wheels and therefore I am pretty fond of it! Whenever I get the opportunity to full-time, I will probably upgrade to a Class A (just for the comfort of driving). In the mean time, we'll just shake, rattle and roll along!

WELCOME Shake,Rattle and Roll!!

We're certainly glad you jumped in and joined the rest of us.....

As you've already seen, there are many nice folks here that are eager to share not only their knowledge and experience with working on their rigs, but we often find time to get together with one another around the campfire as well!!

On the main irv2 page near the bottom, are "regions" where many of us plan little rallies to meet with one another and share good food, good times and a few tall stories....

Come join us!!

Welcome Shake, Rattle and Roll!

Sure wish you'd joined up BEFORE your trip to Texas! While down here, one of us Texas Boomers would have met up with you along the road and treated you to some Texas fixin's!

Keep posting and let us know how you're rollin' along!

Sandy

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! I hope to meet with some of you some day along the great highway of life. Texas fixin's sounds good! You are right, I should have joined before the trip!

First thing I need to do is take the MH in for an oil change since I racked up miles on it this trip. Of course, I know it is just getting broken in because I've only just turned over 7,000 miles! The rest of my trips this year will probably be closer to home trips; long weekends and the annual trek to NC for a family reunion in August.

Again, thanks for the welcomes. It's good to be here.
