Hello all!
Hi, I've been a lurker, figured it's time to join this seemingly friendly and helpful site. Dont' have an RV yet, but planning on pulling the trigger soon-- I just secured a parking spot at a storage.
I work at an underserved community health clinic. I'm a 40 yo new dad to a 1 year old boy, and I figured it's time for my wife and I to upgrade from tents. My goal is to raise my baby enjoying the outdoors and away from ipads/ xbox... kids now a days...
Have to admit that I was a little disheartened to see a new member leave the forum, and after reading some of his posts and responses, I see where everyone is coming from. The guy had valid concerns regarding security cameras--I would have asked the same without producing an autobiography. He seemed intelligent, and probably would have been helpful to others in many non-RV related issues, just as I for medical advise. I'm just hoping that there aren't too many RVers out in campgrounds that would give similar unhelpful, negative responses to reasonable questions.
Looking forward to years of RVing

Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the gang!
Yeah, I sure hated to see him go, but I think we did everything possible to change his mind. I think he will find that even with a few exceptions, this is the most friendly and courteous RV site on the web. Enjoy the forum!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome! I'm fairly new to the actual posting - had lurked for & read for awhile.
I too am sorry to see the other member leave. It appears he hasn't come back to read any of his responses - at least he hasn't made his presence known.
With the roses there are some thorns. I prefer to concentrate on all the knowledge that can be gained here - and new friendships along the way. And maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to share & help out someone else.
So, welcome! Safe travels to you! We'll see you down the road!

Welcome aboard...I agree, it is too bad that some people respond on these forums in an inconsiderate manner. I hope that you will find everyone is friendly here and you can get quality advise on your RV problems.
