Hello all

Hi all..
We have just purchased a new to us 2010 Jayco Jay Feather Sport 199. It has just the right layout for our needs, a soon to be retired couple. It looks to have minimal miles on it, appears to have been parked at a seasonal lot. Roof, walls and floor all look great.. We take possession in mid March. We are hoping it will last for another 10+ years..

We will be towing it with a Hyundai Santa Fe XL which has a 5000 lb towing capacity and the towing package which includes extra cooling and wiring harness.. It has a Class III hitch from Curt and will be installing the 7pin wiring shortly. We will be using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller. I have chosen the Andersen WD hitch, great reviews on it for similar size rigs. Plus it considerably lighter than other hitches.

Our first few trips will be for getting familiar with the rig.. We have an extended trip to northern Canada planned for summer of 2020.

Any tips or suggestions for us are appreciated.

See you on the road..

I haven't had a TT since 1988 so I won't be much help with that.
