Welcome aboard to you both. Great forum! My advise to you is to take your time looking for your rig. There are a lot of them to be had at good prices this time of year. If you find something you like but not sure about it please ask away as the people on this forum are great to help in any way they they can.

Hey Cap' we relate, live aboard's for many years. 45' Nelson Merick, Morgan built. Your knee my vertebrae, same old stuff different body spots. Just could not fight the good fight any longer. Much the same people as cruisers. Not entirely, once you have been in the Gulf Stream with all h--- bustin loose, it's hard to relate. However, good folks, transition is pretty liquid. Look at a used DP. IMO. Better bang for the buck. Good luck. In the lyrics of Chris Cross "sailing takes me away to the place I want to be." Who but us would know!

Ahoy Clay,
